Electroporation is a powerful and broadly applicable delivery method, yet quite a few primary and difficult-to-transfect cell types still suffer from low efficiency, poor recovery, or excessive cell death.
EZ-Electro™ addresses these limitations. Designed to complement electroporation workflows, EZ-Electro™ enhances intracellular nucleic acid trafficking to deliver higher expression, improved viability, and consistent performance in challenging cell types.
How EZ-Electro™ Works
EZ-Electro™ employs a dual-component solution that optimizes nucleic acid delivery beyond membrane permeabilization:
Tube A — Enhanced Nuclear Uptake A specially formulated solution promotes efficient nuclear uptake of nucleic acids following transient membrane disruption.
Tube B — Accelerated Nuclear Trafficking A proprietary blend of factors facilitates rapid transport from the cytoplasm to the nucleus.
Together, these synergistic components improve gene transfer efficiency while supporting membrane recovery and cell viability, enabling robust and reproducible electroporation outcomes—even in primary and historically hard-to-transfect cells, outperforming conventional electroporation systems.
Blow are representative results of electroporation in the absence or presence of EZ-ElectroTM for historically challenging cells such as THP-1 and primary T cells.
